Hello y’all! My name is Allison Bohannon and I am currently a senior at Cookeville High School. I am based in Middle Tennessee and have lived here all of my life. Ever since I can remember, I have wanted to become a teacher, so as soon as I got into high school, I have taken Teaching as a Profession classes which have helped me further my teaching knowledge and given me the opportunity to go on field experiences and job shadow teachers in multiple grade levels and at multiple schools. The purpose of this blog is to aid me with my teaching career and help encourage and inspire me to be the best teacher I can be.

Some of my favorite things to do are hangout with friends and spend time with my family. If I am not preparing for my teaching career, you can catch me at Arby’s, where I have worked for several months, babysitting, or working on a Family Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) competition. I am also involved in Future Farmers of America (FFA) and Junior Fair Board. This year is my third year serving on the executive council for FCCLA and I have been a national competitor for three years as well. I am in the highest level of the Teaching as a Profession program at my school and have been committed to pursuing a career in education ever since I began the program. I have always enjoyed school and always strive to do my best! I hope through this blog that I can make new teacher friends, receive inspiration and encouragement, collaborate with educators and gain new perspectives!!
