I have several goals for this year, especially since this is my senior year of high school. Education has always been a prime focus of mine, and I am sad for this to be my last year, but I am excited for my future endeavors!
Goals:
- Get accepted into Tennessee Tech University with several scholarships.
- Be confident in what grade and subject area I want to pursue. (I have gone back and “fourth” between high school agriculture and fourth grade. (A huge gap, I know.))
- Get in as much field experience as possible and become a pro at creating lesson plans, especially with the edTPA format.
- I would like to mainly focus on researching classroom seating and flexible seating for making my future classroom successful, because I have heard many different perspectives from teachers.
- I would also like to go more in depth with HOTS and LOTS and be able to use them appropriately.
- Also, I would like to gain more perspective on classroom management and see what ideas I could use in my future class.
- Lastly, I would like to create a future teacher podcast that is recorded weekly to promote the teaching career and encourage current and future teachers!
